Scottish Allotments and Gardens Society

This year's conference held in Victoria Halls, Dunblane on Saturday June 18th had as its theme 'The Way Forward'. Sarah Boyack MSP chaired the morning session. Among other highlights Keith Walker, from Highland Council, gave an enlightening talk about the challenges of developing allotments in a remote sparsely populated region. The afternoon session was chaired by Patrick Harvie MSP and continued the successful mix of reports from allotment associations across Scotland followed by a selection of workshops in which participants could develop their particular interests.
